Bucket list craft · letters from the workshop
Short letters on building a bucket list that actually leaves a mark — plus early access to the free app I'm building for people who log their challenges, not just list them.

Bucket List Craft is a slow editorial series — how to tend a bucket list, name a real challenge, and log what you actually lived. The app at bucketlisterchallenge.com is the product. This publication is the workshop: permission, craft, and the story-arc way of thinking about experiences — before you ever sign up for the app.
Permission — Wanting things out loud isn’t naive. It’s the first inch of momentum.
Shape — A challenge is one arc (four to six Moments), not forty checkboxes.
Mark — Log what happened. A photo. A few words. Something worth keeping.
BucketListerChallenge turns lived experiences into stories you can hold. Name a challenge, define your Moments upfront, log each one as it happens. Every logged Moment becomes a free shareable card — and optionally a printed 5×7″ fine-art print on an oak stand. One for the feed, one for the shelf. We’re letting people in from the waitlist in waves. Subscribing here gets you the letters and puts you on the same list.
See the appI’m Dan — solo builder, father, person who’s reorganized the same notes-app bucket list more times than I’d like to admit.
I started BucketListerChallenge because checklists weren’t giving me anything I could hold. I wanted printed proof that I showed up — whether I finished the arc or honorably attempted it.
These letters are me thinking out loud about the craft. The app is me building the tool. Glad you’re here.
